Social Media Intern (part-time)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and execute effective social media strategies.
  • Draft, edit, create, and publish relevant, engaging, and appropriate posts for Baguette Republic social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram.
  • Monitor all social media accounts and engage accordingly. This includes replying to posts and comments, sharing relevant content as appropriate, etc.
  • Create and follow editorial calendar, which will include posting at least once a day across all channels.
  • Continuously monitor and collect data regarding social media traffic, making note of which strategies resonate best with which groups, etc.
  • Adapt strategies according to data.
  • Identify target audiences and potential people of interest who may be especially helpful in promoting Baguette Republic. Reach out to them as appropriate.
  • Assist with other duties as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

  • Current student studying Communication, Branding Marketing, Social Media or recent graduate with a degree in those areas looking to build hands on experience with company or for coursework.
  • Current student studying Communication, Branding Marketing, Social Media or recent graduate with a degree in those areas looking to build hands on experience with company or for coursework.
  • Previous social media experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with all social media platforms.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Must be an excellent listener and quick thinker with a great attention to detail.
  • Must be creative, flexible, open-minded, and very organized.
